His heart is attached to this car very greatly. So attached that, when I met him a few years ago I asked him if anybody had ever driven the car. He told me nobody except him is allowed to drive the car and he does the vast majority of the work on the car himself.

Yeah, it's used mostly as a track car and is only street driven probably at most once or twice a week. He's modified it so that he can get it tuned for 600hp, but hasn't had a chance to get the car up on a dyno so he estimates his current output to be ~550 at the wheels.

It's so damn wide already as it is in person, a wide-body would be great but slightly underwhelming in comparison to the car's current state.

It's just that the area above the rear wheels looks anaemic. That line (shut line?) there ruins it already, but it could be saved with some serious curves.
